Debates in Math Class

Page history last edited by Ethan Weker 6 years, 8 months ago

I don't know about you, but I love a good argument. We often talk about wanting students to talk in class more, to be engaged, to be passionate, right? I have found that debate is an amazing way to facilitate all of those things, in a structured and productive manner. Another plus? I never have students asking, "When are we ever going to use this?".

I'm including here a link to my presentation, as well as several other links that may be helpful. If you have any questions (or suggestions), please let me know!
