Our initial agenda.

If you want the introductory "headbanz" activity with rational functions, the cards to play it as well as the instructions are on this PDF (.doc to edit). The game was inspired by this blog post.

Here are the precalculus topics that were cut up in the plastic baggies that we used to start thinking about the precalculus course, and to make sure that we were all working with a common vocabulary.

Our posters... (1, 2, 3, 4, 5)

The challenging topics that we came up with to teach narrowed down to these (poster).

Lesson write up about Logarithms and Zombies from Summer and Amy

Lesson write up about Trig Identities from Marsha and Jillian

Lesson write up about Inverse Trig Functions from Sam, Greg, April, Dan, and Andrew)

5 minute shorts:

Andrew talked about UNICORNS and public praise for kids!

Jonathan talked about 3D graphing/vectors, his 'random points' game, and graphing polar graphs outside on the sidewalk - bringing the classroom to many!.

Sam shared out all the digital precalculus resources we collected on SugarSync! Please try to download anything (everything!) by September, as he may need to unshare it to free up space on SugarSync.
